REGIONAL is a non-profit, community-based cooperative financial institution. Service is one of our credit union’s core values, and we’re proud to support various organizations within the Northwest Indiana community.

If you would like to request funding for your project or organization, please take a moment to read the rest of this page and submit the form below.

If your request is approved, we will contact you within 10 business days. Please note that REGIONAL has an approved annual budget for community giving, and that we are unable to fund every request.

Types of Organizations We Support

REGIONAL is able to provide donations, sponsorships or other types of support to non-profit organizations that are based in Lake and Porter Counties in Indiana, and that benefit people living in those communities.

Education is another of our core values at REGIONAL. We especially like to support projects that reflect this by focusing on literacy, financial literacy, life skills and other education-related areas.

Types of Organizations We Can't Donate To

We cannot financially support for-profit ventures, religious or political organizations, nor can we fund individuals raising money for their own causes.

Additionally, we cannot provide funding for organizations that benefit domestic or wild animals. Credit unions are founded on the principle of “People Helping People,” and as such our giving must be limited to projects that benefit people living in our local communities.
