What is Elevate?
Elevate is a grant program that assists the growth and development of small businesses, their workforce and the communities in which they are located. Grant recipients may receive up to $10,000 for capital expenditures, workforce training or other expenses to get the boost they need to take their business to the next level.
Is My Business Eligible?
Eligible businesses must:
- Be a for-profit business
- Be headquartered in Indiana
- Have been under current ownership for at least 12 months
- Have 2025 gross revenue between $20,000 and $1 million
- Have NOT received an Elevate grant in 2021 or later
What Can the Grant Pay For?
Grant funds can be used for:
- Property purchases or improvements
- Machinery, tools or equipment
- Employee/workforce training
- Technology enhancements
- Inventory, materials or supplies
Grant funds cannot be used for: rent, utilities, debt payments, salaries, wages or employee benefits.
Should My Business Apply?
If one of these describes your business, get in touch with a REGIONAL Business Development Representative:
- Housing-related businesses: contractors, builders, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, roofing, flooring, suppliers, etc.
- Businesses with a physical commercial location: storefronts, workshops, offices or other public-facing locations.
- Businesses providing training or education: financial literacy, workforce training, professional skills or personal development.
